Erica Duffy was named Executive Director of the Midwest Film Festival (MFF) in 2019, and guided it through the pandemic while steadily increasing the festival’s profile and stature. She is the founder and owner of Camera Ambassador – a camera, grip, and electric rental company – with clients that range from independent artists in music and film to global advertising and commercials, in addition to her several film producer credits.
On a personal note, I’ve experienced nothing but a welcoming atmosphere in the MFF that Erica has built in her tenure, and her leadership in the film community speaks to her passion, kindness and illuminating presence. The MFF and Chicago has nothing but profound appreciation for what she has done for the film and the entire community.
